i love jk rowling's writing. that's why i enjoyed reading not only the harry potter series, but also her recent commencement address at harvard a few weeks ago. =)

in my early years, i stayed away from things that involved any risk of getting hurt and/or rejected. but there's no escape from these types of adversity. it's only during my college years did i begin to accept whatever hardship came my way.

in recent years, i've made efforts to take a few steps further. i try to explore my world bravely now. even when i see that there are a lot of falls and traps involved in an experience, if i desire it that much, i willingly plunge right into it.

quietly. but with as much determination that i can muster.

i fumble. but no matter.
